This ‘ice cream killer’ who murdered her husband and her other lover before burying them under her ice-cream parlour has reportedly scrapped plans to marry her new ‘psychopath’ partner behind bars.
Estibaliz Carranza, 40, was convicted of murdering husband Holger Holz and her lover Manfred Hinterberger, and of cutting up their bodies before burying them in concrete in the cellar underneath her ice cream parlour in the Austrian capital Vienna.

The grisly remains were discovered by chance during maintenance work in June 2011 and after going on the run to Italy, Carranza was captured and later extradited.
Carranza was sentenced to life in a mental institution in 2012 after a trial where she portrayed Holz as a violent and lazy bully, and said that in her relationship with Hinterberger, an ice-cream machinery salesman, she felt like she was “in a prison”.
When arrested, Carranza was two-months pregnant by another man, who has not been named in reports, who she married in prison but who she is now divorcing. The baby was immediately taken away from her after being born and is being looked after by Carranza’s parents in Barcelona, Spain.
Last year she published a book entitled “Cell 14” where she declared her love for a new man, a fellow inmate identified only as Martin L., but she also said that he is a “psychopath” who she would like to marry.
But less than a year later Carranza has broken off plans for the wedding that was due to take place in 2020, with the double murderer saying: “Our relationship is over, and that’s forever.”
According to Austrian daily Kronen Zeitung, there are suspicions Martin L. has been dealing child porn from his prison cell. He denies these allegations.
But Carranza said: “To do something so evil to small, defenceless children, to abuse them, is the absolute worst. My son deserves a decent step father.
The Ice Cream Killer’s lawyer confirmed the pair had split.
Astrid Wagner, 56, Carranza’s lawyer, said: “The allegations which I don’t believe to be true against Martin L. really shook Estibaliz up. She does not want anything more to do with him.”
Carranza is currently serving a life sentence in the Forensic Centre Asten in the municipality of Asten in the northern Austrian state of Upper Austria, which is a facility specialising in psychiatry where men and women live separately but see each other during work and recreation times.
Carranza revealed in her book released last year that she had been enjoying forbidden sex in her cell with Martin L.
